How many people does your fridge need to feed? Three. Me, Rashid, and Sabri.

What do you usually eat for breakfast? I don’t have a usual breakfast meal. Sometimes I eat celery with homemade guacamole—avocado with onion and salt. Or I have a sliced apple with almond butter.

Is there anything you eat every day? I eat a lot of onions.

Every week? Apples.

What item are you forbidden from purchasing right now? The three things I can't eat are soy, canola oil, and gluten. If I had a fourth, it would be cane sugar.

What’s the most delicious thing in here? Man, we haven’t gone grocery shopping, so not a lot. Probably the ice cream that I can’t eat.

The most disgusting? Eeeew! Wow. That would have to be this cheese covered with mold.

The oldest? A jar of Nayonaise.

Anything you regret buying? Yea, I regret buying Sabri a huge jar of applesauce. He originally wanted the little squeezable applesauce things, which we wouldn’t buy for him because we thought it was wasteful. But instead we bought him a huge jar of applesauce that we knew he would never eat all of and that is now molding in the back of the fridge.

What's your guilty pleasure? Popcorn with maple syrup.

Where do you do most of your food shopping? We split it up. We don’t do most of our grocery shopping in one store anymore. The food co-op is too expensive but I still like it so I have a hard time buying all my groceries at H-E-B.

How often do you usually grocery shop? Once a week.

How much do you spend on groceries each week? A lot. I would say around $115.

Is there anything in here that we would have found in your childhood fridge? Totally: strawberry jam.

What do you wish you had in here? A lot of things. A full grocery shop.
